Value along a trendline

Does anyone know of a method to find a value at some given bar along a trendline?

Can you clarify what value along the trend line your trying to return? Whats the goal I guess of this so that I can better understand what your trying to do.

If I create a trendline across the highs of bar 100 and bar 110, I want to know the value of the trendline at bar 107.

I am currently trying to solve this by creating a User defined method which will determine the slope of the trendline and then calculate the y-Intercept from the starting values of the trendline and thereby create an equation which can calculate the value at any point along that line. I guess I was wondering if there was something already created in the public domain which would do this.

Right this is what you need to do.

Might check out the LineAlert indicator developed by Ryan Millard.He did a great job showing how you could so this and you can adapt his code into your strategy/indicator.
