how to get 1 hour candle bar updates

Hello -
How do I generate candle (High,Low,Open,Close) updates for 1 hr?
What if I want to change the duration of candle updates? Like, 2 hr, 4hr, 6 HR, 1 minute?
Would this require creating a new indicator or a new strategy? My intuition tells me this will be a new indicator
(i.e. I do not find any of the given indicators to do what i need).
Also, is there any documentation about what each of the standard given indicators do (i.e. SMA, etc..)?
Would appreciate any of your feed back.

You can use the chart toolbar to set the interval of charts to 60 minutes. This can be adjusted a few different ways as well. Through right click > Data Series screen. Also typing 60m + Enter as a keyboard shortcut.

Indicators will work off whatever chart interval they're applied to, and you can also code multiseries scripts to work off different intervals.
