Instrumentname Auto

When I configure a chart, with an eye to creating a template, I set the indicator instrument name to "auto" and save the template with it's configured indicators.

When I create a new charts, designating my new generic template, the instrument name does not load as "auto" but defaults to the instrument used to create the original template, regardless what instrument I selected in creating the chart. I tried changing the chart to a different instrument, same results.

Is this a trivial, inconsequential mater I can leave alone? If not, how can I create a truly generic template, one that will take on all the correct characteristics of the selected instrument?

TechTrade, how are you setting the indicator instrument name to "auto"?

Might still be how instrumentname code is handled in Ninja. Unknown.

Looking like it is isolated to a proprietary indicator I've purchased.

I can't find a Ninja indicator that has/uses instrumentname, at least visible in the settings window of an indicator - so I can't cross check.

Taking it up with the vendor.
