tick count on LineBreak

Does the Bars.TickCount work for Ninja LineBreak candles??
Do the other Bars.xxxxxxx functions work the same for LineBreak as for other
tick based candles??

Hi photog53,

TickCount would not return meaningful values for LineBreak charts. This would apply only to tick charts.

Other bars properties like FirstTickOfBar, BarsSinceSession should still apply though, although PercentComplete does not.

Thanks for the quick response......

If I understand this correctly,
- Bars.FirstTickOfBar should tell me when the first tick of a linebreak candle starts.
- Bars.Period.BasePeriodValue...will still give me the base value of the line break candle

I managed to code a "tick counter/bar counter" for the linebreak bars...(and the more exotic linebreakwciked bars).
