Running code wont stop!

Hello out there

I have played around with coding an indicator and had it up and running on a market analyzer screen. Somehow it cannot stop - I have set the indicator so it send alerts when some conditions has been met - I realized the code running did not change before I restartet the program. Now I have restartet the program and made a brand new workspace. However, the alerts continues ticking in (with no charts open, no strategies running, no market analyzer window open) - how is this possible?

Hi Danny,

Thanks for the post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums! It's possible for workspaces to run in the background. What you should do is delete the file that controls which workspaces load at startup, and start with a new layout.

Shutdown NinjaTrader.
Browse to My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\Workspaces
Right click on file _Workspaces.xml and select delete
Restart NinjaTrader.
