    Swing indicator

    Hallo,

    I want to apply the Swing indicator to both a bars object and another indicator / another dataseries object.
    Since the indicator requires High[] and Low[] dataseries I'm not sure
    if it's possible to apply it properly to another indicator like that:

    Code:
    ago_recentswing_high = Swing(SMA(20),Strength).SwingHighBar(0,1,MaxAbstand);

    #2
    Hi Stephan123,

    Thank you for your post.

    The code you posted appears to be correct if you are wanting to get the bar number the swing high occurred on. SMA() provides High[] and Low[] so it will work correctly.

    If you need the swing high and low dataseries themselves, you can use the SwingHigh and SwingLow properties of Swing.

    For more information on using the Swing indicator's data values, please see the following help-guide article:

    Please let me know if this is what you were looking for. If not, please clarify and I'd be happy to assist further.
