Indicator Panel Draw Objects Lost When Moved

When I Use DrawOnPricePanel=false and DrawLine() to draw a line in an indicator panel, then drag that indicator on to the Price panel, the lines that were drawn are lost, and do not appear on the price panel.

The lines never get displayed while the indicator is overlaid on the price panel, even if F5 is pressed. If the indicator is dragged back to it's own panel, then the lines re-appear, but only after pressing F5.

Alright what is occurring is this is still at play in the indicator init as you suggested.

DrawOnPricePanel=false

So that indicator Plot output would be on panel one however the drawing objects are still on Panel two due to this in Initialize.

I'm checking with my product manager later this morning to see if there is a way around this limitation.

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no way around this. To draw on the main price panel you would need to to set: DrawOnPricePanel=true in init.

This means you may need 2 versions of your strategy/indicator. One that runs on the primary series and one that runs on the secondary series.
