properties default value not working

Something is really weird.
I compile with no problem... The trace files and the log window are not showing anything wrong but when I am trying to change the default value for properties -- it doesn't show !!!

Example :

    

public bool showText=true;
   
public bool ShowText
{
 get { return showText; }
 set { showText = value; }
}

when I load the indicator it shows false ?

I tried this without success. It seems to be the case for all indicators.

blar58, did you tried adding a complete fresh instance of the indicator after making the code changes, so the variable is private and the property public?

Yes. I have the same result but now only on my custom indicator.

Can you please attach your indicator for testing? I could not reproduce here, it would use the default I assign when declaring the private variable here.
