    Reset() vs. RemoveDrawObject("")

    Hello,

    I'm testing a DataSeries Dot plot vs a DrawDot graphic when some conditions prove true. I'm also using COBC=false.

    When the condition changes and is nullified for the DataSeries, I use .Reset() so that the plotted dot will disappear.

    Is there a manner to make the last DrawDot ("dot"+CurrentBar,...) disappear ie only the last one that plotted? If not, these are the conditions when F5 will make the dot disappear, but I want the code to remove it automatically.

    Please provide a simple code snippet as needed to illustrate.
    Thanks,

    Kirk

    Kirk, you can do a final test of the last bar condition and then if false remove the prior dot or object.

    if(FirstTickOfBar && "last bar condition is false")
    RemoveDrawObject("Dot" + (CurrentBar - 1), ...)

      Thanks eDanny,

      Wasn't sure how to do the indexing for RemoveDrawObject

      I appreciate it.
