macd with multi data series

I have a 5 min chart with a 1 min data series overlayed and a macd in panel 2

the macd is linked to the 5 min data, is there a way to link it to the 1 min data ?

tradr, yes, this is possible. Open up the indicator panel and then in the MACD settings, change the input series in the data section to the 1 minute close data.

Hello,

You needed the data series added to the chart first to be able to change to it. Also, please insure that your on the latest version of NinjaTrader 7. Version 7.0.1000.4 this is found under control center->Help->About.

in Version 7.0.1000.4 you can add 2 data series of the same instument??

You can however they must be different times or range setting and must be added through the Right Click->Data Series menu.
