    Moving Average of an Indicator

How can I apply a moving average to another indicator?

    Thanks

    #2
    Hello Wardend,

You can do averages of other indicators without custom programming. When you apply the indicator to the chart, one of the parameters is input series and you can change this to use other indicators. Additional help for working with indicators is available here.

You can custom code as well. This NinjaScript tutorial walks you through creating indicators on indicators.

How is this done in NT V6.5?

With version 6.5, it's only possible with custom programming. The tutorial on this provided in my first reply will work for 6.5 as well.
