    How to plot an indicator below instrument data

    Hello,

    My query is about whether it's possible to plot the indicator line (for example an EMA with a width of 8) below the instrument data. By default the indicator line is plotted over the instrument data. What I want to do in like sending the indicator line to back.

    Any help?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sangui, you can adjust the so called zOrder of your EMA indicator with holding the shift key pressed while scrolling through the available zOrder levels with your middle mouse wheel when having the object selected - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ng_a_chart.htm

      Hello,

      Is setting
      Overlay = false;
      in Initialize() method result in expected output?

        LaughingDwarf, that would determine to which panel to plot, but I believe Sangui was referring to the zOrder layering if you add multiple objects to your chart.

          That's exactly what I was looking for...

          Thanks
