MACD paint arrows, calculate on bar close problem

Hi there,

this indicator puts an arrow on the chart for MACD up and down crosses.
It works as intended only with calculate on bar close.
Once you have it update in real-time, it puts the arrow on the charts for intra-bar crosses and leaves them on the chart even if there is no cross of the macd at the close of that bar.

Could anybody help me so it paints the crosses at the close of the bar, yet updates the MACD real-time.

moonriver, you would then need to add logic to remove the drawn object when the condition is not present anymore - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...drawobject.htm

Unfortunately I have no Idea about coding, so I would need some serious instructions how to add this.
If you or anybody else has some spare minutes to add this code, I would appreciate it very much.

Macd Arrows

Hi moonriver, try this.
The arrows will blink on/off during the bar, if the condition is true at the close of the bar, the arrow will stay.

finally no false signals anymore, thanks a lot !

One question though, the intra-bar blinking of the arrows has not materialized, or do you mean that once the MACD un-crosses that the arrows disappear?

yw Yes, lets say that during the bar period the lines cross several times. Everytime the condition is true, the arrow will plot. If the codition still is true at the bar close, the arrow will stay, if not, it will dissepear.
