More tics in the indicator margin when the scale is set to logarithmic

I have an indicator whose data spans a large range. I have manually set the scaling for that indicator panel to logarithmic.

For the instance I am looking at not, I get a labeled margin tic for 2000, quite near the top of the indicator panel. There is also another, unlabeled, tic a tiny way higher for 4000.

It would sure be nice to see some tics in between zero and 2000, rather than seeing most of the margin being left blank. Is there any way, either manual or programmatic, to do that?

EV, thanks for the suggestion - you might need to add a few transparent yet autoScale included lines to define your own 'scale grid'.

      Can I do that?

I thought that the line level would be a configuration matter, and I will not know the right level for the lines until after parsing all the data. The lines need to be right for what is currently visible on the screen.

EV, it's not exactly what you seek but a workaround as the autoScale lines need to be included then in the autoScale range set by the panel.
