Problems with Compile

Hello, i try to make my own indicator but a have a big problem, when i finish the indicator and i hit F5 or COMPILE i get a lot of errors, this problem happends when a try to compile an indicator of ninja trader that comes with the program.

help me please

Hi federicojahn,

When you compile, it checks all indicators and strategies and lists error messages. What are the error messages you're getting? A screenshot of your compiler with the error messages is useful for us to help you with the next step.


To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Hello, thank you for the replay, i just compile the EMA indicator without changing a code and the errors are in the file attached

Thank you for the screenshot. On the left it lists the file name that's generating these errors. You can resolve these programming errors or delete the files.
To delete/edit:
Click Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator.
Click on an indicator and then select either edit or delete.
