Private Function - Where do I put it?

Hi,

I am trying to insert a custom function into my script but I don't know where to put it.

private bool fctSomething ()
{
if (....) return true
}


Where should I put this? I tried outside public class ScriptName: Indicator but I get errors.

Hello marcusplexus,

You want to place this within the scope of the indicator class. Here is an example of where it would fit:

    public class example: Indicator
    {
  
	private bool fctSomething ()
	{
		return true;
	}
		
        protected override void Initialize()
        {
        
        }
