Any way to determine sim mode state from within indicator?

I have found the ChartControl.SimulationBackColor which works fine. Sometimes I have the ChartTrading dialog displayed and sometimes I do not. In the case that I do not, setting the color when in simulation mode does not seem to affect the display.

Is there a method or some value I can inquire from within an indicator to determine if the system is in sim mode or not?
I was wondering if the account name is exposed someway?

If I had the name or way to determin if I'm in simmode I could affect the display in some unique way...
