Using NT6.5 Indicators on NT7

I find that some indicators designed for NT6.5 not working perfectly on NT7.

How can I know that a particular NT6.5 indicator is not working in NT7? For example, a MACD indicator designed in NT6.5 that changes histograph bar color depending on up or down prices in the price bar. But when you look closely, it sometimes gets one or two bars wrong.

Can the older version indicator semi work on NT7 or would it completely not work at all if it was incompatible?

Welcome to our forums - you would need to test your 6.5 indicators in NT7 to see if they work as you would expect, the major custom code changes we introduced going from 6.5 > 7 are outlined here, you can check the 6.5 code to see if your study would be affected and needs adjustment first -
