Automatically Inserting Actions and Conditions In NinjaScript

I notice that in the Ninja 6.5 and 7.0 Help Guide under “Automatically Inserting Actions and Conditions” section, the NinjaScript Editor can automatically generate code for you by accessing the right mouse button click context menu sub menu's "Insert Action..." and/or "Insert Condition...".

I do not have any these selections at all on both my 6.5 and beta7.0.19

I have tried many, many, many times… after typing “if (“ and right clicking the mouse, I do not have a “Insert Action” or “Insert Condition” selection available. Every thing else is there per the help guide.

Is there a secret button somewhere to turn this on?????

After many attempts to create simple indicators I find this very, very frustrating. From some of the other post, it appears that the selections are available.

Joshua, these options are only available while editing a strategy.

Meaning: select edit, Indicator.. correct? I am in edit. Please clarify.

To clarify, you can only access those options while editing a strategy (Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Strategy). If you are working on an indicator, those options will be unavailable.

I am trying to do this in Edit Indicator. Should I be in Edit Strategy? It is an indicator that i am trying to build.

Sorry, let me be more clear. You cannot use "Insert Action" or "Insert Condition" while editing an indicator. It must be done while editing a strategy. You can, however, have a strategy editor window open, insert as many conditions/actions as you want, and then copy + paste the code into your indicator.
