Select Panel to plot in

Is there some code I can put in my indicator to make it plot in a certain panel?

Thank you for your forum post.

You cannot predetermine what panel an indicator is going to reside on besides the price panel. If you want it on the price panel you will have to type in Overlay = true. Otherwise each new indicator will by default be added to a new panel.

I have a strategy that also paints an indicator in panel 2,,, so if my indicator is already in atpanel 2, the strategy does not see the panel 2 is already filled and just paints over the indicator

Hello,

This is currently expected.

You would need to move this manually. Right click on the chart select indicators then change the panel manually in the indicators parameters.
