Constant plot update

It seems like most indicators are updated on onBarUpdate() which will wait for the next bar to be drawn.

I would like for my indicator (which is a graph) to be constantly updated instead of waiting for the next bar to be drawn.

Im using the overloaded Plot function to do my indicator drawing.

Can I call plot in OnMarketData()? this will update my plot everytime new marketdata comes in.

Or is there another way to do it?

Hi ballz,

Setting CalculateOnBarClose = false; would certainly get your indicators updating more often.

Aside from that, you can't plot from the OnMarketData(), however you can try setting a variable in the OMD(), then using it in the plot in OnBarUpdate() to access that data, however the frequency of plotting will be the same.
