Exporting my indicator as a compiled pkge

I can deliver my indicator to a friend and he can install it with no problems. But if I try to use the Compiled option (to hide the source code) I get a warning telling me that three of my 3rd party indicatorys must be present on the target machine for my indicator to be installable. Why would my compile process reference any other indicator on my system. I just want to distribute a "source code hidden" version of my indicator - to someone who does not have my other 3rd party indicators.

    Thanks

    dberti,

If your script calls other scripts you need to include those other scripts into the export for it to work. Please include all required scripts along with yours as you compile the code as an assembly.

If you export a compiled dll from an NT install which has other dll's your indicator might want them even if it doesn't need them. Best bet is to move your script to another NT installation which has nothing but system indicators and export from there.

My script is basic, bare-bones and does not rely on any other scripts or calls to any other indicators other then standard Ninja calls (Min, Max, etc). I suspect that Dan (last post) may be on to something. It may try to include other DLL's whether they are used or not. I guess I'll try to install on a different machine and compile from there.

          That will work.
