Get Bar Date

Hi

I think this is a very simple question. I did some research but could not find an answer.

What is the best way to compare two consecutive bars Date ( I don't care about Time).

What I want to do is to look at current bar's date to see if it is the same as the preceding bar ?

Hi blar58,

You can compare the dates of specific bars with ToDay(Time[0]).

This will return a date in the format, for example...

20100629
