Problem with Pivots Session Times

Gentlemen,

I am currently using NT 6.5 and have a problem with my session times. Currently, my pivot points are only updating at midnight. I have changed the session times under properties, but this did not work. On the chart, there is a line break displayed to start the new day. I want the line to plot via the session start times and not at midnight. Any suggestions would be gladly appreciated.

Hello,

Yes, change the session begins time to the start of your session and change the session end time to the end of your session. For example, if the trading session is 6am to 3pm use:
session begins 600AM
session ends 3pm

...and the pivots will only use the session data.

I've already tried that, but the lines plotted still breaks at 12:00 am. Am I doing anything wrong?

Hi dscurry,

Once you have changed the session times on your chart please also check that the Pivots values are calculated using IntraDay data.

So, if you right click on the chart then select Indicators you can choose the applied Pivots and then choose the PriorDayOHL and set that to CalcFromIntradayData.
