    Confluence indicator

Has anyone out there developed a confluence indicator that works on NT?

I would only be aware of those here - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...fluence&desc=1

What type of confluence indicator do you look for?

something that shows bands or areas of major pivots (woodies, floor, etc.) and major price levels (yesterday HLC, Month HL, etc)

Showing these levels as important when they come together.

          I use three indicators

          (a) SessionPivotsV28 for NT 7.0 (see download section)

Displays floor pivots (options wide/ narrow), woodies, camarilla, fibonacci or (next release) jackson zones. Can be set to ETH/RTH, pivots can be calculated from settlement or close. Includes weekly and monthly pivots.

          (b) Fib Confluence Zones

Calculates fibonacci confluence zones from up to 540 different lines in 10 timeframes, If you are interested send me a private mail, I have not published this.

          (c) Opening Range, Night Session Range and European Range

This can be downloaded for free. Have not put this on the NT forum yet, but can do so, if anyone is interested.

Chart below shows floor pivots and fib confluence zones on a 15 min chart for ES this morning.

This indicator will not open in NT7. Is there a conversion to NT7? Can someone do the conversion?

It should import fine into NT7, what exact error would you get here?

Thanks Bertrand. The indicator imports fine and there is no error message. However, when attached to a chart nothing happens, the indicator label appears but the indicator does not plot.

Any errors in the log tab? You might need to play a bit with the settings for your chart and timeframe so areas of confluence are actually found and visualized...if the settings are too hard, there simply could be none that qualify.

The log file indicates failure to call method 'Initialize' for indicator for several Properties and Objects. I believe the the 'Initialize' worked in NT6.5 but no longer in NT7, just guessing.

The indicator should always show zones, they are simply pivots. Also, there is not much flexibility in settings for options.

The Initialize() would still work the same way on NT7, I don't get any errors here, are you sure you downloaded and installed the NT7 version from the sharing?

The only ConfluenceZones version in file sharing is the 6.5 version unless you have a NT7 version of this indicator. A question: do you actually get this indicator to plot on your charts in NT7? If so, would you please provide a link to your indicator?

                        Thanks.

This one seems to be for NT7?

Thanks Bertrand. Yes, this one is for NT7 but is not the same. This one is based on Fib levels, while Confluence Zones indie is based on Pivots.

Can you get the 6.5 ConfluenceZone indie to plot in NT7 charts?

Sorry, I took a look in the sharing and do not see the indicator you mention - can you attach it here to this thread so we could give it a run then?
