How to write simple indicator?

Hello. I tried to find the answer on my own but no luck. Am I able to put an indicator on the chart like. sma(5,c)-h ? Or if(h-o>o-l,o-l,h-l) ? Is this easy to do without knowing how to program? Any hints or tips on where to get started would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Jim

This is definitely possible but would require some custom programming. If you are interested in getting started with coding on your own, I suggest starting with out tutorials.
