current day,week,month's pivots indicator

I am wondering if we have pivots indcator which can plot current day,week,month's (not previouse ones) pivots on the chart?

randomwalker, I'm currently not aware of any such indicator. Maybe some community members have seen something similar and are willing to help out.

NinjaTrader does come with a Pivots indicator built in, but I'm not sure if that is what you're looking for. If you want to try it out, the name of the indicator is, simply enough, Pivots.

Current Day's Pivots?

Current day's pivots are a joke. They change with price. When price finally hits the current day's pivot it has moved to the midrange of the current day. When price moves away from the midline the pivots will be dancing around but not have any meaning.

So what you need is just a CurrentDayOHL with a midrange line, or if you want to refine the approach you can use Fibonacci retracements based on current day's high and low.

I know it sounds funny..... However, it is useful if trader wants to know those pivots before the market.

Take the CurrentDayOHL of NinjaTrader and add a few lines....
