The Interactive Brokers API does not transmit the OpenPrice for the current session. I would like to write an indicator specifically for the Market Analyzer that can recreate the OpenPrice for the current session.
The "CurrentDayOHL" in NinjaTrader 7 is a good starting point for the creation of this I guess. It makes us of the "Bars.SessionBreak" property for determing the start of the current session. I use the indicator on my charts, but i would like to strip it down just to show the OpenPrice and make it work in the Market Analyzer as an indicator showing a number value.
Can u give me some guidelines? Is it possible do build this? My knowledge in NinjaScript is not sufficient to do this on my own from scratch. But i have some basic understanding in scripting.
