I have noticed that when the 'Indicator' is selected by right clicking inside a chart that ALL indicators within the system their Initialize() function is called. Is there a way to avoid calling the indicators initialize() until the 'Apply' button is pressed?

What happens when 'Apply' button is pressed
Greetings,

Hi there, unfortunately that is not possible. If you have code that you'd like to run just once at the beginning of the strategy/indicator, you can just execute that code at the first bar:
Code:protected override void OnBarUpdate() { if (CurrentBar == 0) { // run code just once } }AustinNinjaTrader Customer Service
