OnBarUpdate not sent for last historical bar in chart

Hello,
I have a chart with session start and session end set. The session end is set to 4:30 PM. For the last bar in the chart with the time 4:30 PM I do not see my OnBarUpdate invoked. However, the bar is visible on the chart. Is this the way it is supposed to be? Is there a setting I can change?

PK, this is unfortunately expected as the OnBarUpdate() would be fired again as the open tick of next bar would be received.

Improvements to this behavior would be made available with NinjaTrader 7 -
