woodiescci - trending textbox - how to do similar

how would one float a textbox / label in the same way woodiescci manages to do so?

Can you provide a screen shot so I can see what you are referring to:
To post a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and post the file as an attachment.

the text has a yellow backgournd and say normal - this changes to red or green and the text chnages as well as the reading.

That looks like DrawTextFixed() in the TextPosition.TopLeft to me.

I tried that - it floated it on the main panel top left 0,0 not on the child panel

Put in your Initialize section, DrawOnPricePanel = false;
