    How To Recover System

    Hello Support,

I get into trouble after making latest change on my own indicator, ninja need to shutdown, saying external module generate exception. I saw the trace file, it reported System Run Out of Memory, on calling OnBarUpdate on bar 2757. Obviously it is at my indicator. My XP system has 3GB of RAM.

Restarting get me to the same problem as the same workspace is reloaded. In fact it is in the default workspace. I can edit my indicator to remove the latest changes on another computer, and export. But how do I update my trading computer when Ninja always shutdown?
Kindly advise the right method to recover the system.

    Thanks.

    Hello Edward,

    Thank you for your post.

I recommend deleting or renaming your default workspace so that NinjaTrader starts without any charts.

You can find the file at:
    My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\Workspaces\default.xml

Delete if you don't mind losing it.
Rename if you want to preserve the workspace. After renaming, start NinjaTrader, edit your indicator and then close Ninja. Go back to the renamed file and change to default.xml
