    Moving Average of Custom Indicator

    Hello

    is there any possibility to take the Simple Moving Average of a custom indicator? I tried it with Volume and all worked well, but when I try it with the custom indicator, there is an error saying, that the argument can't get converted from a method into IDataSeries. How can I change this?
    Current code:

    Value.Set(SMA(CustomIndicator, period)[0]);
    I hope, you can help me with the problem.

    Regards,

    Sepp

    EDIT: solved. Had to enter CustomIndicator(), since it's a method as it looks like...

    You are correct. You have to use the method call.

      David,

      You should not try to back set with 1 like that. SMA indicator does not take into account that you are changing historical values on its input series.
