BackColor help

[safetrading]

I was hoping someone could tell me why this simple code will not work. I'm just trying to color the background when one of two conditions exist;



if(CurrentBar < 23)
return;

int above = MRO (delegate {return SMA(21)[0] > SMA(21)[21] && SMA(21)[1] < SMA(21)[22];},1,21);
int below = MRO (delegate {return SMA(21)[0] < SMA(21)[21] && SMA(21)[1] < SMA(21)[22];},1,21);

if( above > -1 || below > -1)
BarColor = Color.PaleGreen;

safetrading, please try stripping down the code to find the error. Are you sure above and below are being set to the correct value? Maybe include an "equal to" condition like so?

if (above >= -1 || below >= -1)
    BarColor = Color.PaleGreen;
