Instantiate a system indicator from a custom

from inside a custom Indicator i am developing

I would like to simply display the SMA inidicator overlaying the price chart - however i need to plot a custom histogram in panel 1...

Apart from telling the user to add the sma manually what is the best practice for doing this programmatically?

This is unfortunately not directly supported with NinjaTrader 6.5, however you could try setting Overlay dynamically in your code to achieve this - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...6/Overlay.html
