Custom $tick indicator

Is it possible in ninjatrader to develop custom $tick indicator for the exchanges which doesnt provide it ?

like say , I've an index build with 40 securities. Now using their ticks is it possible to build custom indicator same as $tick ?

Please guide, I'm new to ninjaTrader.

New Multi-Series Charting
You can now mix multiple series on a single chart without limitations seen in other platforms. We have introduced a new chart level property "Equidistant bar spacing" which is automatically set to false when mixing more than one series. What this does is creates a time axis that is void of any missing bars so that mixed series of any type can all be accurately aligned to time. When this property is set to true, bars have even space between them and missing time bars are excluded.
The image below depicts a mixed series chart that plots ES 5 Minute, NQ 1 Minute, YM 1000 Tick and YM 10 point range series.

I'm feeding NinjaTrader via DDE from quotecenter using custom application.

Now , question is again. Will it be wise to load 50 charts in a single chart to create custom $tick.

or i can call them externally using ADD fuction ?

You would need to test in your setup how the realtime performance of such a combo is, but that's the way to go, ADD them to the strategy and then do your custom TICK calculations in the strategy (at least for NinjaTrader 6.5).
