New Bar Method

Is there a method to create a new bar? For example, if my chart is setup to use number of ticks at 1000, can I force a new bar to be created at ticket 900? If there is not a method, is there a way to accomplish forcing a new bar?

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to force building a new bar.

Why? This means I can't trade with Ninja Trader. Is it a limitation on the indicators. Can a method be added?

Why does that mean you can't trade? The building of bars is completely independent of indicators or strategies. There is nothing an indicator or strategy can do to force a new bar. If you want to build your own bar style you will need to program it outside as a chartstyle. Unfortunately this is outside the scope of what we support though. For examples I suggest you check out the file sharing section for RangeBarsAlt.

Thanks. I will look into chart styles and range bars. Maybe I posted this in the wrong area. I like to use a combination of price and tick bars that dynamically readjust based on movement.
