    Plotting rising/falling values with a different color.

    Hi,

    I am trying to create my version of the built in Fisher Transform indicator.

    I would like the plot to be colored blue when the Fisher Transform value is greater than that of the previous bar. It would be red if the Fisher Transform value is lower than that of the previous bar.

    I saved the Fisher Transform indicator file with a different name and added the following code at the bottom.

    ==============

    if (fishValue > Value[1])
    {
    Value.Set(fishValue);
    Plots[0].Pen = new Pen(Color.Blue);
    }
    if (fishValue < Value[1])
    {
    Value.Set(fishValue);
    Plots[0].Pen = new Pen(Color.Red);
    }

    =========================

    When I compile and load the indicator, the indicator does not plot at all.

    Can some one please point me to what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks!

    menlo,

    For a multi-colored indicator you will need to follow the concept shown here: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=3227
