    MACD with WMA fast and slow averages

    Hi
    I am interested in developing a MACD Oscilator using WMA instead of EMA.

    I tried to alter the existing Ninja script available for regular MACD by swaping letter 'E' with 'W' where ever I saw the Ema in the code. Unfortunately , it generated some error report while compiling.

    Appreciate guidence from Ninja support team / forum members in either calculating FastWma and SlowWma and substituting in the main MACD code or developing a new oscilator.

    I would suggest you look into the various MACD variants posted to our sharing section and then use them as basis for your own derivation - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ch=MACD&desc=1

      Try this...

      WMACD

      I used the original MACD formula to calculate the Diff from the WMA values.

      I also put an extra line on the Diff to make it easier to read.
