Up Trend Lines/Channels
I would like to have an indicator that plots UP TREND LINES (and DOWN TREND LINES) on my 1-min candlestick charts.
I am unaware if this indicator already exists in Ninja Trader (and perhaps has a name that I don’t recognise?), or - if not - whether there are any “open source” NinjaScript code fragments out there that I could get my hands on to do this ...
The sort of indicator logic I am looking for is allowing the lines of:
UP TREND LINE can be drawn if the following price series occurs:
a) A LOW, followed (perhaps some bars later?) by
b) a HIGH, followed (perhaps some bars later?) by
c) a HIGHER LOW, followed (perhaps some bars later?) by
d) a HIGHER HIGH
UP TREND LINE will then be drawn through the LOW and the HIGHER LOW.
Similar logic for DOWN TREND LINE ...
