Referencing Value[]

I am having trouble referencing the dataseries for the indicator plot. I have an indicator that plots a histogram in the bottom panel, and I also want it to draw certain things on price panel itself. I can set a variable to = Value[1] and can reference the variable in my Draw commands, but anytime I try to reference Value[x] directly it destroys the plot. I am also unable to reference anything prior to the previous bar .. eg. Value[2] even if I set a variable to do it.

Any help would be appreciated.
