Indicator derived from S&P500 component stocks...can NT support?

    Hi,

I recently signed on with TradeStation only to discover that their platform has a significant limitation and would like to know if NinjaTrader can help solve my problem...which I think is kind of basic...

I currrently run maunal calcualtions (via an off-line excel macro) on each of the component stocks of the S&P500 index, add up the results and the output is an over-bought / oversold indicator for the index.

My question is...can NinjaScript support the input of price and volume data for each of the component stocks of the S&P500, in order to create an indicator? TradeStation is limited to 50 unique data inputs, so their EasyLanguage could only support an index of 50 stocks.

I would make the jump to NT in a hearbeat if this type of calculation is supported.

    thanks for your help.

    - John

    Hello,

The only limit here is your computers ability to process all of the incoming data.

I will be even easier when NT7 comes out:
