Possible Open Interest Indicator

Is anyone aware of any index or indicator that can be used in real time on an intraday basis that might closely resemble the open interest of an option or futures contract in real time (assuming the data were available from the CBOE)? While I know the CBOE does not publish real time open interest of an options or futures contract, I can't help but think there is an index or indicator that can be used in real time to help spot divergences between price and open interest. I have been using On Balance Volume but I know thats not the real deal. I have to think there is a way to mimic what real time open interest data would look like using some sort of other options or futures index or indicator. I have thought about open put call ratio data but I am not even sure if I am on the right track. Thanks for any help.
