Externally alter chart bar interval?

Is there any way that an indicator running on one chart could alter the bar interval of another chart?

Not with the default indicators that come with NT. The functionality that a 3rd party indicator could have is nearly limitless though.

I'd like to be able to draw candles on a tick chart also.. is there some example code of that? I'm sure I can use the Microsoft drawing stuff but if there is a specific example I could see it would be great..

What is available are the draw objects you have available for charting. Please see the draw methods starting with Draw...() in the Help Guide to see what can be used.
