Sorry this may be a dumb question...

Is the zerolagmacd supposed to work on ninja7 or only 6.5? Is there a way to tell when someone posts an indicator if they dont say?

winJR, you would need to import it into your NT7 and give it a quick test run to check.

If they post it in the indicator file sharing section of this forum the are required to post what version it was built in, but if it is posted just in a thread what Bert said is the only way to tell (that I know of).

Could you be more specific about the formula how the threshold filter works, especially in the changed logic with the ADX?

Hello all,

Here is an updated version:

a) Fixed ZeroLagEMA onbarclose = false problem.
b) Added ADXVMA filter
c) Added Threshold filter (price must cross zero + threshold to trigger)
d) Changed logic, will now plot "up" if MACD + Threshold > ADX
e) Added Acceleration logic, can now keep "ratio" of 12,26,9 but speed up proportionally if desired



I also updated the zip in the file sharing section.

Guys, the one posted by Mike in the sharing would be for NT65 only. I ran a quick test on it and looks good to go for NT7 as well. Please find attached a suitable zip.

No joy sorry, I haven't found one, instead I used a standard macd and changed the settings to approximate the zerolag macd I wanted. for example for a zerolag with settings of 7,28, 7 I use a standard macd of 3, 11, 6 . This gives me the divergences that I use
