im using a sample reference to create a support/resistance indicator. this is what i have so far: edited: updated with 150 bars initial setting

Right now you are using "startBar" for your MAX() function. You have not defined what this startBar is and that you need to do so before your code will do anything. You need to place in how many bars back you want to check for the highest high.

i see what the tip is saying, however it seems to be working as normal even when set to 999 bars, e.g. no error message and using the most recent hi/lo when previous data up to the set number on bars is not available.
