Passing a NT indicator value to Tradestation

Hi,

I would appreciate if someone could let me know how to pass a NT calculated indicator variable to Tradestation. I just need to pass one number over that updates on tick.

after doing some research, the only way i can figure out is to have NT write the output to a txt file and then I can have TS import that number in.

Could someone please let me know the line of code that would write a single value to a txt file while deleting the old number? So I just need a txt file with the most updated number in it.

How much coding experience do you have?

You can pass the NT indicator value into a shared DLL between NT and TS.

do you mean like the GlobalVariable 2.2 dll that's available for TS?

Yes, that's what I'm thinking.

To make things easy, I would first only worry about passing the value in real-time. Historical indicator passing would be significantly more complex.
