FirstBarOfSession does not exist

I have an error stating this :
The name 'FirstBarOfSession' does not exist in the current context


I have this line of code into a UserDefinedMethod :

if (Bars != null && FirstBarOfSession == true)

..........


Does somebody have an idea where I could solve that problem ?

Instead you can check dates for changes. The moment a date changes you know its the first bar of a new session.

I am new to this language.
When looking for the date does the following line suppose to work because I still get the same error message.

if{ Date[0] != Date[1]}
