Range bound market indicators?

Can anybody suggest any indicator which can signal it is range bound as circled in the attached pic. I know that some check the slope of moving average to ascertain whether it is range bound of trending. If flat, it is range bound and if sloping, it would be trending. But how would I be able to code this into a strategy? Or is there some indicator beside moving average which does this well?

I did try to use super trend. But how do I test inside my strategy with super trend whether the market is range bound or trending?

You can't test using supertrend.
