Accessing other instrument data

Anyone have any clues as to how one could access instrument data for other than the current chart instrument from within and indicator. I know this can be done since I've seen it in action. Just can't figure out the right classes and methods to access this data real time.

I frankly don't care if it's not officially supported. I need this functionality now and can't wait for some supposed future release of NT.
